My name is Mandy! I am a 25 year old college student, who originally went to college to be a Culinary Arts major, but quickly found out that the competitive world of cooking is not my forte; so instead I have decided to something else I love...teaching! But that doesn't mean I don't get to cook and bake on the side!!
2015 was an interesting year. With the support of my amazing boyfriend, I started experimenting more with baking. I've always wanted to experiment with fondant, so I bought a bunch of cool little nifty fondant tools on Amazon, and made my first Fondant cake...
The holidays gave me the perfect excuse to bake a ton! I really got into it!! I have always enjoyed blogging, I have a book review blog called The Romance Bookie, but because of school and work, it's kept me from reading freely. Plus my mind just hasn't been into reading, as much as it used to, so I wanted to do something new!
So that is how The Romance Foodie came along!
I will be making recipes I find online, reviewing them, as well as reviewing products related to the kitchen and food items! :)
